Import Molecule- Files from other Software

GlassyChemistry 2000 can read and write all molecule files in the international Mol-File- Format (*.MOL).

When you have drwan a structure you may see this in UltraMol, HyperChem etc. as space filling molecules.

Vice versa you may read and adapt any structure in the *.MOL- Format with GlassyChemistry 2000.

a) Read: Select therefore in the upper menue bar: Options – Insert Graphic/Object“. Select from the window that opens a *.mol file.

The structure appears at once on the work area.

Open now the Structure- Editor.

Go with the mouse cursor over the blue hexagon.

You now may adapt the structure with GlassyCjhemistry 2000.

b) Drag and Drop: Drag any Mol- File on the GlassyChemistry-work area.

The structure appears at once on the work area.

Export Molecule Files:

Draw a structure in the Structure Editor.

Then right click with the mouse on the formula.

Select in this window Structure Editor – Save Formula as Mol- File.

Save the structure for examle as my structure.mol.

You may read this file with most of the software for chemistry available today.
