How to change Bonds

Select the Box „Object Edit“ from the upper menue bar (or F5).

 

The editor must be active.

 

 

Example: To change a single bond to a double bond select #2 and drag the mouse cursor over the existing one.

Possible Bond Valences:

#0 = no bond

#1 = single bond

#2 = double bond

#3 = triple bond

#4 = stereo bond right up

#5 = stereo bond left up

#6 =  stereo bond right down

#7 = stereo bond left down

#8 = stereo bond right down dashes

#9 = stereo bond left down dashes

#10=bond in wave line

#11=bond broad

#12=bond broad dashes

#13=bond broad, wide dashes

#14=bond dots

#15=bond dashes

#17=double bond asymmetric down

 

#18= double bond asymmetric up

#19= aromatic bond up

#19= aromatic bond down

#20= double bond, half dashes up

#21= double bond, half dashes down

#22= double bond, half dashes up, asymmetric

#23= double bond, half dashes down, asymmetric

#24= s-orbital

#25= p-orbital

#26= d-orbital

#27= f-orbital

#28= sp-hybridorbital

#29= sp-hybridorbital, right

#30= sp-hybridorbital, left

#31= p-orbital

#32= erase bond

#33= fat dotted bond

#34= (+)

#35= (-)

 

Text alignment

0 = to fit

1= right

2 = centered

3 = left

4 = super

5 = sub

 

The „More settings“ Box

You may change these preferences if necessary. Normally the basic setting fits to most structures.

 

 

More settings:

Invert capitals - Buchstaben invertieren ( c Ž C)

Automatic super- and subscript - Automatisch hoch/tief stellen (z.B. H30+)

Show help points -Hilfspunkte zeigen

Any angle = Beliebige Winkel

Any bond length - Beliebige Bindungslängen

Enforce superscript - Hochschreiben erzwingen

Enforce subscript - Tiefschreiben erzwingen

Allow multiple bonds – Mehrere Bindungen erlauben

 

Font Preferences:

Click on the „Schrift“ card

 

You may select any font you have on your computer.

 

In the small window below the fonts  you can see the preview.

 

When you have changed something go back to the  „Formel“ card.
