GlassyChemistry 2000

With GlassyChemistry 2000 you get a tool to perform most of the work to be done in chemical education with one software only. Besides a unique kit for experimental drawings there is an editor for scientific structure drawing integrated. Functions for non bonding electron pairs and orbitals are included.

All structures may be saved as *.mol files. These files can be opened in HyperChem, ChemOffice, Mol2Mol, UltraMol and other scientific software. GlassyChemistry 2000 is enabled to read *.mol- files which you can use as a template for your works. You can import graphics in various often used graphic formats. If you do not have to write too much, you may design a complete worksheet. If you prefer it, you may save your work as a *.WMF- file an import it in text processors like Micosoft Word.

The GlassyChemistry Work Area

All experimental drawings, text, chemical structures and formulas may be positioned anywhere on the field of work. Multiple work sheets between which you may copy and paste structures as you want may be diplayed at the same time. Chemical structures may be imported and exported as *.mol files. Graphics you made with another software may be imported as *.WMF, *.BMP or *.JPG files. All you made with GlassyChemistry 2000 may be saved on your hard disk in these formats vice versa.

GlassyChemistry 2000 is a completely new developed software. Mostly you do not have to open menues for operations. For example, when you want to change an element in a formula you have not to click on a button. Simply go with the mouse cursor over the Element you want to change and enter the new symbol by the keyboard.

When you build an apparatus by glassware elements, they fit automatically together. Also their size adapts to the tool you selected first. We do not know another software which can do this.

With this vector operated program you may draw poly lines, arrows, polygons, spline and bezier graphs. With the pipeline function you may connect the glassware with curved tubes as you want.

An editor for entering text is integrated. You may alter size, fonts, font color both in plain text or in super / subscript. The text areas may be rotated just like the glassyware or the formulas.

If you do not like the way we arranged the glassware locker, you may change it as you want. Next you can alter the shape of some glassware like heigt or filling and use the clone as a template for your work.
