ChemBond CD
Basics of chemical bonding
Tool for teaching. Present the
animated sequences with a beamer in your auditorium,
or have it installed in the computerlab or intranet for independent learning!
The course begins with Democritus in ancient Greece, and
goes from Dalton, Arrhenius, Becquerel,
Rutherford to Niels Bohr in more than 90 animated sequences to show the historic path to the chemical bond.
Animations in video-quality (800x600 pixel,
24 frames/sec)
The classic experiments are presented in animations.
A picture is worth a thousand words. But animations illustrate in addition the changes
arising during an operation and are therefore the most descriptive way to educate.

All sequences are animated! They are controlled
by using a timeline
and the buttons on the top left of the page.
Each sequence begins with an animation or a video. These sequences
therefore can be used directly in the classroom like an overhead slide. On the other hand students can -with the
accompanying boxes as well as question-and-answer pages-
also work independently.

This diagram is pesented in stages.
The animation may be stopped at each point to discuss it with the students.

All the information required for teaching are available in the
text fields.
The animations can be stopped anywhere and continued with a mouse click.
